– Temmie introducing herself.

Temmie is the first major character that the protagonist encounters in Underswap, serving as the main antagonist for the majority of the game, like Flowey, specifically the Neutral and True Pacifist routes. She provides an introduction to the mechanics of encounters by sharing "Temmie Flakes," which are actually harmful bullets, again like Flowey. Her main philosophy is "KILL or BE KILLED."

Temmie resembles a cat with dog ears on her side, having he original cat ears on her head. She wears a yellow and blue striped shirt and has shoulder length black hair.

At first, she speaks in broken english when meeting the protagonist pretending to be stupid. However, she soon speaks in perfect english after you either dodge her bullets or get hit by them, temmie will drop the act and calls the protagonist an idiot. Because temmie has no SOUL, she is incapable of feeling love or joy.

In Battle

For further information, see Temmie/Underswap/Photoshop Temmie/In Battle.

As a doll, Temmie uses only two attacks: a five-bullet spread (otherwise know an "Temmie Flakes")that slightly hone in on the protagonist's SOUL, and a large ring of bullets which surround the SOUL and cannot be dodged. She can speed up the spread though the limits of her attacks and speed are unknown. Getting hit by her five-bullet spread in her first encounter deals 19 damage per bullet. Before her battle as Monster Kid, the bullets will deal 7 damage until 6 HP where it is 5.

For further information, see Monster Kid/Underswap#Relationships.

  • Temmie only has two attacks.
  • Temmie was originally going to be swapped with the Annoying Dog, but this was changed, because the author thinks that it wasn't a fitting idea.
  • Temmie is the first character you meet in Underswap.
