Swapfell is an Underfell and Underswap AU combination, the fell-ified version of Underswap (not to be confused with Fellswap, which is a swap-ified version of Underfell). This is also a community shared AU, so character designs and personalities may vary from each other between interpretations. This specific article, however, is centralized on Kkhoppang's version. Rather than Sans and Papyrus, Kkhoppang's Swapfell was mostly centered around Undyne and Alphys. However, most of the AU's contents have been purged from the internet, so information is limited.

Changes

As Swapfell is the Fell-ified version of Underswap, there are several changes with the characters. They commonly wear purple, unlike Underfell's and Fellswap's red, black and gold color schemes. Instead of good-natured monsters who don't actually want to hurt you, the monsters are evil and want to kill you, except for Papyrus and Temmie. Papyrus is still slightly like the rest, but has hidden motives. Instead of Temmie being evil, Temmie actually wants to help you escape this hell.

Trivia

• Despite being the sole Swapfell page on the Undertale AU Wiki, the idea of Swapfell existed since at least late-2015, before KH created his designs—which went on to be the most commonly used for Swapfell. The earliest known appearance of Swapfell is from the Swapfell Tumblr, which is still active.
  • Unlike KH's version, this Swapfell had Underfell's red and black color scheme.
