EpicTale is an animated comic AU created by Yugogeer on Tumblr.
It started on November 21st, 2015 and got 7 total volumes, until it ended on November 7th, 2016.
Volume 1 is the start of the AU, which was released on November 21st, 2015. It begins with Frisk falling into the underground, much like the original game. While they are lying in the golden flowers, a blinding flash of white light fills the area, and Frisk is teleported into the Ruins. While they are there, they meet Toriel, who shows them around the Ruins. All of a sudden, Flowey pops out of the ground and Toriel trips over him. Frisk notices that blood is leaking from around Toriel's head. Frisk then turns her around and sees that blood is spurting from Toriel's nose. Frisk tries to shake her awake, but to no avail. Toriel's soul floats out of her body and falls apart. The flash of light came again and Frisk found themselves back in the golden flowers.
Volume 2 was released on 24th November 2015, and continued with the events of Volume 1. As it starts, Frisk is standing on the yellow flowers. He walks over to the entrance and is teleported to the Ruins exit, again with a flash of white light. After the teleport, Flowey is right in front of Frisk, and says "I hope you liked what I did back there! Because it's not like you can go back and change anything." Flowey then destroys the save Frisk made at the flower patch at the beginning of their journey, and pops back into the ground. Frisk then steps out of the Ruins. Frisk, and the viewer, are then both given a choice of True Pacifist, Neutral and Genocide. What happens next depends on the choice that you (the viewer) make.
If you chose True Pacifist, Frisk will advance to the gate that Papyrus made to stop humans. There they meet Sans, who says that Frisk should just go through the gate, since Papyrus made the bars too wide to stop anyone. Frisk walks through the gate, and continues on to Snowdin, where he meets Papyrus.
